Who is Assurant?
Assurant Health Insurance (also known as Time Insurance Company and John Alden Health) is headquartered in New York City and has been in existence for over 115 years. They are a publicy traded company that provides coverage nationally. By dealing with a national carrier, if you are travelling or moving outside of Utah, you will be able to find plenty of doctors that are in network (and by default, lower priced).
Assurant offers a variety of different plan types as well as having some pretty great things to add into their health plans or added benefits their plans already provide.
